« Anbalaba » has been designed to blend as seamlessly as possible into the authentic, unspoiled landscape of Baie du Cap.

In addition to the project’s aesthetic, in perfect harmony with Mauritian architecture, Anbalaba is at the heart of a set of environmental and social initiatives voluntarily put into place by the promoter.

Biodiversity

Here, sugarcane fields have given way to housing, shops and services that help meet Mauritius’ needs. They place value on and seek to preserve the wilderness of the island’s southern region while providing solutions including a diversified, high-quality commercial offer.

Designed in a spirit of sustainability, Anbalaba is an effortless combination of architecture and nature. It is distinguished in particular by its tropical nursery, laid out over more than a hectare large and in which rare endemic plants are cultivated. The project also includes multiple gardens planted with fruit trees, the better to blend into the lush setting of Baie du Cap. An agricultural cooperative will also be set up to pool local resources and promote local produce.

Sustainably built

The homes at Anbalaba have been designed to reflect their immediate environment, with each house built according to its site’s unique topography. Their designs also maximise natural ventilation, optimising their residents’ comfort and conserving energy. The excellence of their design and the high-quality materials employed guarantee the properties’ durability and that future maintenance costs will be minimal, thus guaranteeing their owners’ peace of mind.
